February 15 - Day of Remembrance of Soldiers-Internationalists
Dear internationalist soldiers of Beshenkovichi district,
veterans of the war in Afghanistan!
The Day of the Withdrawal of Soviet Troops from Afghanistan is a sacred and memorable date for both participants of the Afghan events and veterans of combat operations who served in other "hot spots". It is unforgettable for the families of fallen soldiers and for each of us. On this day, we honor those who honestly and courageously fulfilled their international duty in international military conflicts and remained faithful to their military oath. We share the pain of loss with the relatives and friends of those who did not return from "hot spots" abroad, with all who lost friends and comrades-in-arms there.
Veterans of Afghanistan are worthy of the heroism of their fathers and grandfathers who defeated fascism during the Great Patriotic War. Today, they actively participate in public life, promote peace and harmony, and make a significant contribution to the patriotic education of youth. Dear friends, we bow low to you and express our sincere gratitude for your courage. We wish you and your families strong health, peaceful skies, happiness, well-being, and success in all your endeavors!
