Peace is a very broad concept that includes the opportunity to do what you love, peace of mind for your loved ones, and confidence in the future.
We, Belarusians, know its value well, as destructive wars have repeatedly swept across our land, bringing death and untold suffering to people. Therefore, we do not forget those who defended the freedom and independence of our Motherland in struggle, we remember and honor the memory of the defenders of the Fatherland.
The Belarusian people have always advocated for peace and stability, because without peace there is no future. This holiday reminds each of us of mutual respect, mercy, compassion, the need to be tolerant and to care for the future. Peace on earth between people and nations is especially relevant now, when peaceful people are dying in different corners of the planet, including innocent children, women, and the elderly. Today, more than ever, it is important to remember the value of peace on earth and to do everything possible to preserve it.

May this September day bring warmth to your homes and warm your hearts. We wish all residents of Beshenkovichi region strong health, happiness, and well-being. May there be peace and harmony in your homes, and may the sky be cloudless and clear.
