June 26 – Public Prosecutor's Office Workers' Day
On June 26, public prosecutor's office workers celebrate their professional holiday. Prosecutorial supervision is a special area of activity in which the prosecutor is empowered to eliminate violations of the law in almost all areas of legal relations: housing, labor, economic, tax, environmental, and historical-cultural, in the spheres of crime prevention, anti-corruption, administrative, civil, and criminal proceedings.
The prosecutor's task is to ensure the rule of law, legality, and law and order, and to protect the rights and legitimate interests of the state, organizations, and citizens.
The small team of the Beshenkovichi District Prosecutor's Office, consisting of 3 prosecutorial employees and 3 employees providing technical support to the prosecutor's office, also copes with these tasks.
For almost ten years, the district prosecutor's office team has been headed by Andrei Sergeevich Shklyarevsky, who, incidentally, grew up and was raised in the Beshenkovichi land. In 1995, he graduated from Secondary School No. 2, and in 2000, from the Faculty of Economics of the Belarusian State Agricultural Academy with a degree in law. In December 1999, while studying in his fifth year, he was accepted as an intern for the position of assistant prosecutor of the Beshenkovichi district, and after graduating from the educational institution, he received his first class rank – 3rd class lawyer. In 2004-2006, he worked as a senior investigator, and from November 2006 – as the district prosecutor, now holding the class rank of justice counselor.
For more than 20 years, Deputy Prosecutor Elvira Iosifovna Leshenok, a junior justice counselor, has served the law. She is truly an indispensable employee in the team; under her close prosecutorial scrutiny are civil and criminal cases, from simple to the most complex. She is a highly professional and thorough lawyer. Leshenok E.I.'s successes in supervisory activities have been repeatedly recognized with awards from the Prosecutor General and the Prosecutor of the Vitebsk region. But her most important qualities are optimism, an inexhaustible belief in justice, and a desire to help those in need.
In March of this year, Assistant Prosecutor Vera Viktorovna Larkova received her second class rank of 2nd class lawyer. In only her second year of service, she has proven herself to be a highly qualified and competent lawyer; not a single fact of law violation escapes her inquisitive gaze and principled prosecutorial assessment. Supervising the implementation of legislation by economic entities, and laws on minors and youth, she actively takes measures aimed at eliminating violations of laws and restoring the legitimate rights and interests of citizens. This energetic and insightful employee is always at the center of events – in production, in labor collectives, in educational institutions.
The technical support staff – Lyudmila Pavlovna Babenkova, head of the chancellery, Sergey Anatolyevich Malakhov, prosecutor's driver, and Svetlana Vasilievna Kukhto, courier-cleaner of office premises – are the backbone of the prosecutorial team in the operational resolution of assigned tasks, document processing, and the functioning of life support systems.
The prosecutor's office team extends special words of gratitude to Cheslav Ivanovich Maksimovich, who for many years headed the teams of the Beshenkovichi and other district prosecutor's offices, was a true guardian of legality, and the best example for several generations of prosecutorial employees. We wish Cheslav Ivanovich and his family longevity in health, optimism, and well-being.
Special thanks go to the former driver of the district prosecutor's office, Vasily Ivanovich Masko, who dedicated over 40 years to service in the prosecutor's office. His impeccable attitude to service and warm relations with people earned him deep respect and high authority within the team.
On this festive day, we wish our colleagues good health, peace, kindness, happiness, prosperity, and family well-being, as well as career advancement, new fruitful ideas, and success in their implementation.
