82 years ago, our land breathed freely again. The Western Dvina, which remembers centuries, witnessed fierce battles in those days. Its waters washed the wounds of soldiers who broke through to the shore under a hail of fire to liberate our land…

We will never forget those who did not return from the battlefield. Those who remained forever young, giving their lives for a peaceful sky above our heads. We bow low to the veterans and all who forged Victory in the rear! Their feat is an example of courage, patriotism, and selfless love for the Motherland.

Today, our main task is to preserve the historical truth about that war, to educate the youth in the spirit of respect for the heroic past of their people. We are responsible to those who defended our freedom, so that never again shall shots thunder on the land of Beshenkovichi region.

On this bright festive day, we wish every family peace, goodness, and harmony. May your homes be filled with joy, and your hearts with pride for your small homeland. We wish you strong health, longevity, happiness, and faith in the future!
