On May 9, Beshenkovichi District Celebrated the 81st Anniversary of the Great Victory
On May 9, on the most sacred holiday for every Belarusian, from the very morning, grateful descendants – representatives of the district authorities, labor collectives, public organizations, and youth – visited those who endured incredible hardships during the war years. Flowers, warm words, and care – all this was a tribute to their respect. The guests also presented the heroes of the celebration with congratulatory cards and gifts from the district organization of the Belarusian Red Cross and the "Groshyk" store.
An atmosphere imbued with deep respect for the feat of ancestors prevailed during the rally at the Mound of Glory. The place, which has become a symbol of the valor and selflessness of generations, gathered residents of the district, youth, and representatives of the authorities.
Honored guests addressed the attendees with heartfelt congratulations. The head of the district, Galina Unukovich, emphasized the importance of preserving historical truth and passing on the memory of our people's heroism to future generations. The military commissar of Beshenkovichi and Shumilino districts, Andrey Savich, recalled military traditions and patriotic duty. On behalf of the youth, the first secretary of the RPK of the BRSM, Yulia Polozova, delivered a touching speech, assuring those present of the readiness of the younger generation to sacredly honor the feat of the victors.
The festive events concluded with a vibrant concert held at the district culture center. Thematic platforms of enterprises, organizations, and institutions of the district also operated here.
In the auditorium of the RCK, a special atmosphere permeated the air – one of reverence, solemnity, and at the same time, pride in the feat of our ancestors. Every musical performance, every word spoken from the stage, was imbued with deep respect and boundless gratitude to those who, at the cost of incredible effort, defended the peaceful skies over the heads of future generations!
