Emphasis on preventing cybercrime. A unified information day is being held in the district

As part of the Unified Information Day, the Chairperson of the District Executive Committee, Galina Unukovich, met with the staff of the telecommunication section of the Vitebsk branch of RUP "Beltelecom".

One of the main topics was "Cybersecurity and Prevention of Cybercrime". Special attention was paid to the importance of increasing the digital literacy of the population, online safety rules, the development of information and communication technologies, etc.

Pavel Yanekin, an operative officer of the criminal investigation department of the Beshenkovichi District Department of Internal Affairs, spoke about fraud schemes and methods of countering them. The telecommunication section workers asked questions of interest to them.

The socio-economic development of the country was also on the agenda. The head of the district spoke about projects planned for development next year in Beshenkovichi region, including in the agricultural sector.
