The «Don't Burn Your Life Out!» campaign is in full swing!

The problem of fires caused by careless handling of fire has always existed. People, due to their own carelessness, excessive self-confidence, or thoughtlessness when handling fire, destroy their own homes and property. But just think about it... If citizens are taught not to smoke in living quarters, in bed, fires will decrease several times.

The students of the Ullsky Vocational Lyceum named after L.M. Dovator know about smoking from their own, and often quite long, experience. Exactly one year ago, a fire occurred in the agro-town of Ulla, which claimed the lives of three people. The tragedy happened just a few hundred meters from their educational institution, precisely because of an unextinguished cigarette. As the participants of the event noted, such real-life examples are the best motivation, and some quit smoking after this incident.

The students also watched a film about the consequences of smoking, produced by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus based on real events, and played the game "Quiz Don't Burn Your Life!". 12 students during the event agreed to take the oath of a "Fighter against Smoking", and all the others promised never to try the taste of cigarette smoke.

 The Republican campaign "Don't burn your life out!" is held annually and is aimed precisely at preventing fires caused by careless handling of fire while smoking.
