Clean-up campaign
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection has announced a spring cleanup campaign from March 1 to May 8, 2024. As part of the campaign, special attention will be paid to the condition of land along the rights-of-way of roads and railways, bus stops, publicly accessible areas of settlements, horticultural associations and garage cooperatives, agricultural lands, forest fund lands, the condition of container sites, and compliance with waste management schemes.
We remind you that the disposal of waste outside of designated areas, in accordance with Part 3 of Article 16.44 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Belarus, entails a fine of up to thirty basic units, for an individual entrepreneur – up to one hundred basic units, and for a legal entity – up to one thousand basic units.
