The main goals of the campaign are to reduce the number of fires caused by citizens' non-compliance with fire safety rules in residential buildings and structures, settlements and territories, including rural areas, to strengthen law and order, and to prevent offenses committed by citizens while intoxicated.

The campaign will be held in the district from March 7 to March 15. All prevention entities will take part in it. They will conduct targeted inspections of households and apartments inhabited by large families, families with children recognized as being in a socially dangerous situation, lonely disabled and elderly citizens, as well as citizens who abuse alcohol, and able-bodied citizens not employed in the economy.

During the preventive measures, homeowners will be reminded of safety rules in everyday life and on household plots, and visual materials on fire safety topics will be handed out. Also, during the campaign, rescuers will speak to work collectives, demonstrate fire prevention video materials, including on the procedure for actions in case of an emergency.

In accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Belarus, the responsibility for compliance with fire safety rules in residential buildings owned by citizens under private property rights is vested in their owners. Therefore, rescuers urge: install autonomous fire alarms in each living room, and if you have them, check their operability. Pay attention to the serviceability of the stove and electrical equipment used, repair or replace them if necessary. Be extremely careful when smoking. Do not leave young children unattended.
