Artyom Saratokin from Dubrovensky District Becomes the First "Two-Thousander" Among Youth Crews in Vitebsk Region

Artyom Saratokin from the Y. Smirnov Agricultural Production Cooperative of Orsha KHP, Dubrovensky District, became the first "two-thousander" among youth crews in the Vitebsk region.

The agronomist was congratulated by the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Alexander Subbotin, the Assistant to the President of the Republic of Belarus – Inspector for Vitebsk Region – Vladimir Yurgevich, the Chairman of the Regional Trade Union Organization of the Agro-Industrial Complex Tatyana Dikanova, and the leadership of the Dubrovensky District Executive Committee. The grain grower reached the two-thousand mark on a domestic KZS-1218 combine in a field of spring wheat.

Alexander Subbotin thanked the combine operator for his dedicated work, emphasizing that harvesting 2 thousand tons in these challenging times is a feat.

– This is not the limit. New thousands and new records await you. Success is achieved by those who invest professionalism and skill in their work. Thank you from all of Vitebsk Region. I wish you success in the battle for the harvest, good health, and peace. May everything turn out well for you, – the head of the region addressed the agricultural enterprise's workers.

Artyom Saratokin, a hardworking and modest young man, has been a leader in the harvest campaign year after year. He has been honored at the regional "Dozhinki" festivals multiple times. This is Artyom's 7th harvest. A hereditary agronomist who followed in the footsteps of his tractor driver father, he says: working the land is my element, my life.

– Our district, region, and country have something to be proud of. We live under a peaceful sky, grow grain, and earn by our own efforts. This must be valued and cherished. We, the agricultural workers, will do everything to ensure the country's food security, – Artyom Saratokin emphasized with pride.

Today, in the Dubrovno district, there are 28 combine harvesters who have threshed more than a thousand tons of grain and rapeseed. The district has crossed the equator with a yield of 51,327 tons of grain, with an average yield of 38 centners per hectare.
