Guide for self-tuning TV channels
Automatic tuning
With the automatic method, you will need to reset the settings of previously scanned TV channels and perform a rescan. To do this, you need to:
· turn on the set-top box;
· After loading "Efirnaya ZALA", press the "menu" button on the set-top box remote;
· Find the "Settings" tab, press the "Ok" button on the remote;
· Select "Delete All", press the "Ok" button on the remote;
· Confirm that you want to delete all channels by pressing "Yes";
· Navigate to "Auto Scan", press the "OK" button on the remote control;
· Click on the "Search" tab, wait for the channel scan to complete;
· Display television channels at the new frequencies.
Manual Tuning
When manually tuning television channels with the deletion of existing channels (the intensity and quality indicators of the received television channel signal must be stable and be 25-30%), you need to:
1. Turn on the set-top box;
2. after loading, press the "menu" button on the set-top box remote;
3. find the "Settings" tab, press the "Ok" button on the remote;
4. select "Delete All", press the "OK" button on the remote control;
5. confirm that you want to delete all channels by pressing "Yes";
6. press the "menu" button on the set-top box remote;
7. find the "settings" tab, press the "ok" button on the remote;
8. On the "Settings" page, navigate to the "Channel Scan" tab and press the "OK" button on the remote control;
9. On the "Channel Scan" page that appears, fill in the required parameters:
"Scan Mode" - select "By Channel",
"Range" - select "UHF",
"Channel Number" - select the channel number (frequency) based on the table "Information on Changes in Frequency Channels, Radio and Television Stations, Covered Areas and Work Schedules" provided on the Beltelecom website, or clarify with the technical support service by calling 123;
10. After selecting the channel number on the "Channel Scan" page, a stable signal strength and quality value of 25-30% or more should appear. Then, navigate to "Search" and press the "OK" button on the remote control. The scanning of the selected radio frequency channel begins. Based on the scanning results, a list of TV channels included in the scanned radio frequency channel will appear.
11. Repeat steps 6-10 to scan the radio frequency channels of other multiplexes, selecting the channel number (frequency) based on the table "Information on changes in frequency channels, radio and television stations, covered areas, and work schedules."
The number of multiplexes (radio frequency channels) will depend on the connected tariff plan.
When setting up
channels manually without deleting existing channels after configuring the desired multiplex (radio frequency channel), new channels will be added to the end of the general list, and channel names will repeat. Required:1. turn on the set-top box;
2. after the "Efirnaya ZALA" application loads, press the "menu" button on the set-top box remote control;
3. find the "settings" tab, press the "ok" button on the remote control;
4. on the "Settings" page, navigate to the "Channel Scan" tab and press the "OK" button on the remote control;
5. on the "Channel Scan" page that appears, fill in the required parameters:
"Scan Mode" - select "By Channel",
"Range" - select "UHF",
"Channel Number" - select the channel number (frequency) based on Table 1 "Information on changes in frequency channels, radio and television stations, covered areas and work schedules" provided on the Beltelecom website, or clarify with the technical support service by calling 123;
6. After selecting the channel number on the "Channel Scan" page, the signal strength and quality values will appear. If the signal strength and quality values are stable at 25-30% or more, proceed to "Search" and press the "OK" button on the remote control;
7. The scan of the selected radio frequency channel begins.
Note: If the signal strength and quality values are unstable and below 25-30%, scanning the selected radio frequency channel is usually impossible or requires more time. In this case, measures must be taken to obtain a quality signal: adjust (align) the antenna, check the antenna, cable, and connectors for proper functionality. Only with clear values of signal strength and quality not lower than the above-mentioned is signal reception and corresponding image quality possible.
To remove old radio frequency channel TV programs, you need to:
1. press the "menu" button on the set-top box remote;
2. find the "favorites" tab, press the "ok" button on the remote;
3. on the "favorites" page, select the "favorites" tab, press the "ok" button;
4. the "Channel List" page will appear, displaying all TV programs;
5. Using the navigation buttons ↑ and ↓ on the remote control, browse the TV program images in the upper right part of the small screen (to display the image, press the "Ok" button with the TV program selected);
6. If there is no image for the selected TV program (you have selected a TV program, pressed "OK", and no image appeared) - press the blue button on the remote control twice, then press the "Ok" button. An "x" icon will appear next to the selected TV program, indicating that the TV program is ready for deletion from the general list. Then press the blue button on the remote control once;
7. Using the navigation buttons ↑ and ↓ on the remote control, browse the images of the remaining TV programs in the upper right part of the small screen (to display the image, press the "Ok" button with the TV program selected);
8. In the absence of an image on the selected TV channel (you selected a TV channel, pressed "OK", and no image appeared) - press the blue button on the remote once, then press the "OK" button. A cross icon will appear on the selected TV channel, indicating that the TV channel is ready for deletion from the general list. Then press the blue button on the remote once.
9. Repeat steps 7 and 8 for other TV channels without an image.
10. After selecting all non-working TV channels, press the "EXIT" button on the remote. A tab with the text "Do you really want to save?" will appear on the screen. Click "YES". The TV channel list will be updated.
