Beshankovichy. Safe New Year!

The first stage of the republican campaign "Safe New Year!" has started throughout the republic. In Beshenkovichi, the territorial center for social services to the population became the center of events, which was visited by rescuers together with the "firefighter" Ded Moroz. At the beginning of the meeting, rescuers informed those present about the situation with emergencies in the region and throughout the republic, focusing not only on deaths from fires but also, in general, from external causes. Specific incidents with detailed descriptions were presented by an employee of the Ministry of Emergency Situations as a reason to think not only about one's own safety but also about the safety of relatives and loved ones. Along with showing thematic videos about the basic safety rules to remember when preparing for New Year's celebrations, safety measures related to the use of pyrotechnics and decorating the home with festive attributes were explained. No less attention was paid to fire safety measures in everyday life. The dangers of using faulty household electrical appliances, measures to prevent fires related to malfunctions of electrical networks and electrical equipment, as well as careless handling of fire were discussed in an accessible way for everyone. A pleasant continuation of the meeting was a competition program prepared by the rescuers and the firefighter Ded Moroz. The time spent communicating flew by unnoticed, leaving everyone with positive emotions.
