Beshankovichy. Youth knows how to help!

As part of the republican campaign "Youth for Safety," activists of the Belarusian Youth Fire Rescuers Organization across the country are actively assisting citizens of the golden age.

The youth of Beshenkovichi district are also actively participating in the campaign. Chopping firewood, bringing water from a well, helping with grape harvesting and pruning trees. This is far from a complete list of tasks that activists of the Belarusian Youth Fire Rescuers Organization perform at the request of elderly citizens. There are also unusual requests, such as moving a refrigerator from a room to the kitchen or fixing a fence. It might seem like trifles, but even such issues already cause many problems for pensioners who do not have young helpers nearby.

Often, pensioners thank them for such help with tears in their eyes, offer to have tea, share life stories, and show faded photographs of their own youth. At such moments, you begin to understand how short-lived and fragile our life is, and that perhaps soon our parents, and we ourselves, will need help – note the young men and women.
