Beshankovichy rescuers took part in command and staff exercises with territorial defense forces

The main objective of the drills is to practice the interaction of fire and rescue units, forces and means of other civil defense services of the district, as well as territorial defense forces.

One of the stages of the drills was the initial one, where a car caught fire as a result of a road traffic accident. A detachment of fire and rescue unit No. 1 of the Beshenkovichi district emergency rescue service was immediately dispatched to the scene of the simulated incident.

Within seconds, the combat crew arrived on a fire truck, deployed and supplied a GP-600 nozzle to extinguish the car and create a foam cushion. In addition, rescuers used rescue tools to unblock the simulated victim by dismantling the driver's door of the car, followed by handing over the victim to medics.

The precise action algorithms tested during the comprehensive drills will help to eliminate hazards in the shortest possible time in case of real emergency situations. Participants improved their skills and abilities in solving civil defense tasks.
