Beshankovichy Commemorates Victims of the Great Patriotic War
Today, on the Day of National Remembrance of the Victims of the Great Patriotic War and the Genocide of the Belarusian People, at dawn, residents of Beshankovichy gathered at the obelisk on Internatsionalnaya Street to honor the heroes who gave their lives for a peaceful sky.
Exactly at 4 a.m., when 85 years ago the silence was broken by the first explosions of enemy shells, candles were lit at the foot of the mass grave of Soviet soldiers and partisans.
This was not just a ritual, but a symbol of our unquenchable grief and eternal gratitude.
