Beshankovichy. Current issues before the heating season

The operation of faulty heating appliances is one of the most frequent causes of fires. In order to educate the public on safety rules, as well as to monitor the condition of heating appliances in citizens' households, rescuers conduct explanatory work among the population.

This time, rescuers visited the villages of Dolgoye, Krupenino, and the agro-town of Ostrovno in the Ostrovensky rural council of the Beshenkovichi district. When visiting households, special attention was paid to the condition of heating appliances, the presence of installed autonomous fire alarms, as well as the residents' knowledge of fire safety rules.

– Despite the warm weather, the heating season will begin very quickly, – says Alexey Golub, Deputy Head of the Beshenkovichi District Department for Emergency Situations. – Now is the time, you could say the "last chance," to bring your home into a fire-safe condition.

According to the results of the raid, about twenty households were visited, 23 people were instructed, and each of them was given leaflets on reducing the risk of fires and their consequences.
