Beshankovichy. Safe New Year!

The first stage of the republican campaign "Safe New Year!" is nearing completion across the republic. In Beshenkovichi, the territorial center for social services of the population became the focal point, visited by rescuers led by Denis Alexandrovich Kaza, an employee of the Vitebsk Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

At the beginning of the meeting, Denis Alexandrovich informed the attendees about the emergency situation in the region and across the republic, focusing not only on deaths from fires but also, in general, from external causes. Specific incidents were presented to the attendees with detailed commentary from the Ministry of Emergency Situations employee, serving as a reason to reflect not only on one's own safety but also on the safety of relatives and loved ones. Along with the screening of thematic videos on basic safety rules to remember when preparing for New Year's celebrations, safety measures related to the use of pyrotechnics and decorating the home with festive attributes were explained.

No less attention was paid to fire safety measures in everyday life. The danger of using faulty household electrical appliances was discussed in an accessible manner for everyone, along with measures to prevent fires related to faulty electrical networks and

electrical equipment, as well as careless handling of fire.

A pleasant continuation of the meeting was the competition program, which the rescuers prepared for the visitors of the center. The time spent in communication flew by unnoticed, leaving everyone with positive emotions.

At the end of the event, Denis Alexandrovich answered all the questions of those present, and also reminded them of the danger of the first thin, still unhardened ice.
