Beshankovichy. Excursion to the fire station

As part of the Republican campaign "Unified Safety Day," rescuers were visited by students from Secondary School No. 2 of the urban settlement of Beshenkovichi.
The event began with a demonstration of emergency rescue equipment; rescuers showed how to use emergency rescue tools and other firefighting equipment. Everyone who wished could try on the rescuers' combat gear and sit behind the wheel of a combat vehicle.
Then, the rescuers invited the children to feel like real firefighters and extinguish a mock fire: each participant had to "shoot" water at markers that needed to be knocked down.
Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations told the children the basic rules of life safety, emphasizing the dangers that could await them not only within the school walls but also beyond, what improvised firefighting agents can be used in case of a fire and how to use them. They reviewed the emergency service phone numbers and what to say when talking to a dispatcher. Rescuers also once again reminded the children about the rules of conduct in forests, what games are safe, and what to do if they discover a fire.
