The round-the-clock care unit for pensioners is a place where many pensioners and lonely elderly citizens of the district are gathered. Many of them find it difficult to care for themselves and their homes, especially during the cold season. Such people vitally need the help and support of those around them.

As part of the republican campaign "Youth for Safety," young rescuer-firefighters from the Beshankovichy branch of the Belarusian Youth Public Association of Rescuers-Firefighters visited the round-the-clock care unit and provided the residents with patronage assistance.

– It is very pleasant that they do not forget about us, – says one of the residents of the unit. – Although we have various guests quite often, children bring special joy with their visits. And when these children also provide assistance, it is doubly pleasant!

Today, the children not only helped to tidy up the territory of the unit but also explained the basic safety requirements in households and residential premises. After such a meeting, all participants were left with only warm emotions and useful knowledge.
