Beshankovichy. Daily raids on agricultural facilities

Rescuers of the entire Republic conduct daily raids on agricultural facilities, the main goal of which is to prevent fire emergencies and ensure the safety of grain harvests.

Thus, rescuers of the Beshenkovichi District Department for Emergency Situations inspected two harvesting sites of the state enterprise "PolitotdelAgro", including four units of grain harvesting machinery and three units of other machinery (tractors and trucks). Briefings on fire safety measures during harvesting were held with the employees of the enterprises.

However, correct actions in case of a fire during harvesting are no less important than adhering to safety rules during work. Therefore, we remind you that in case of a fire, the driver must:

give a signal (audible, visual, with flags) to the driver of fire-fighting or fire-fighting adapted equipment;

begin to extinguish the fire with available fire-fighting means and move the grain harvesting unit out of the grain field; straw from the combine's straw chopper should be ejected after the unit has been moved out of the grain field;

take measures to limit the spread of fire across the grain field (plow the burning zone). People should be stationed along the plowed strip to extinguish flying sparks and burning straw bundles.
