Beshankovichy. Youth for Safety!
As part of the first stage of the republican campaign "Youth for Safety," activists from the Beshenkovichi branch of the Belarusian Public Association of Rescue Workers and Firefighters, together with rescuers from the Beshenkovichi District Department for Emergency Situations, provided patronage assistance to veterans, disabled individuals, and elderly people, who gladly welcome such "useful" guests.
Teaching an adult is quite challenging: adults already have a formed worldview and understanding of how things work, and safety rules are doubly difficult to instill. However, the young rescuers not only found a way to do this but also successfully applied it! The young rescuers not only provided feasible assistance in harvesting crops and tidying up household plots but also unobtrusively reminded residents of fire safety rules in everyday life. For example, today, during a visit to the household of a single elderly citizen, the activists helped harvest beans and also explained how to properly burn unnecessary waste and build fires, how to prepare a stove for the heating season, and what an autonomous fire alarm is.
As a memento, the rescuers and the young people left behind visual aids and recommendations for reducing the risk of fire.
