Rescuers conducted a preventive event as part of the republican campaign "Safety - in Every Home!" with elderly citizens at the day care unit of the institution "Territorial Center for Social Services of the Population of the Beshenkovichi District".
It is no secret that people of "golden" age are a vulnerable category of citizens who often need special attention. Therefore, reminding them of safety rules was not superfluous. Employees of the district department for emergency situations conducted an intellectual game "Safety Secret" with the citizens, during which they reviewed together the safety rules for operating stove heating and electrical appliances. Attention was focused on the need to install a fire alarm and the rules for using a fire extinguisher. The attendees were shown preventive films, in which they could visually see what the neglect of elementary fire safety rules could lead to. At the end of the meeting, elderly people were given brochures "Safety - in Every Home!".
