Beshenkovichi. On safety in work collectives.
As part of the second stage of the "Don't Burn Your Life!" campaign, rescuers from the Beshenkovichi District Department for Emergency Situations are conducting preventive discussions in the district's work collectives, aimed at preventing fires due to careless handling of fire. This time, rescuers visited the work collectives of the "Belgosstrakh" Representation for the Beshenkovichi District and the UPZhKKh "Beshenkovichi Kommunalnik".
During the conversations with the organizations' employees, rescuers reminded them of the inadmissibility of smoking in unauthorized places, providing examples of fires caused by careless handling of fire while smoking, including those resulting in fatalities. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations presented the attendees with statistics on fires and emergencies that have occurred in the district, region, and republic for the elapsed period of the current year, emphasizing fires caused by careless smoking. They also reminded them of the importance of observing fire safety rules at home, as human carelessness and violation of these rules can lead to tragic consequences, and of the correct use of a fire alarm, which helps to detect a fire in time and save not only property but also one's own life. The issue of the need to install the mobile application from the Ministry of Emergency Situations "MChS Belarus: Help is Near" was also addressed.
Employees of the organizations were able to test their fire safety knowledge in the "Quiz" game, as well as exchange a cigarette for a candy and leave wishes for smokers. The events concluded with the screening of the film "Victims of a Harmful Habit," which demonstrated to the attendees instances of careless smoking that led to real tragedies.
