Beshankovichy. Providing assistance to lonely pensioners is the main task.

Representatives of the Beshenkovichi District Department for Emergency Situations participated in preventive raids on the households of lonely pensioners in the Beshenkovichi District.

The main task for the raid participants was to conduct instructional and explanatory work, assessing the safety of living conditions of citizens at their place of residence. Particular attention was paid to the operability of stoves and chimneys when visiting households. Preventive conversations were held with homeowners, during which they were given recommendations on tidying up homes and adjacent plots, installing fire alarms and maintaining them in good working order, and strictly observing fire safety rules. Parents were reminded of the inadmissibility of leaving young children unattended.

As practice shows, preventive work at the place of residence is the most effective. Specialists were able to assess the safety of all households and also distributed leaflets reminding them of the importance of observing fire safety rules.
