Beshankovichy. Warn villagers about everyday dangers
In 2023, the number of fire fatalities in the Beshenkovichi district increased, with 4 people dying throughout the year. The specific indicator of fire fatalities per 100,000 population exceeds the regional average by 2 times.
The highest number of fire fatalities in residential buildings in 2023 and the preceding 3 years was registered in the Beshenkovichi and Ullsky rural councils of the Beshenkovichi district.
Due to the current operational situation and the sharp increase in the number of fires in the residential sector, a decision has been made to conduct a series of preventive measures in the aforementioned rural councils of the Beshenkovichi district.
Thus, this week, rescuers not only organized home visits to citizens together with prevention entities but also set up "safety posts" in the shops of the agro-towns of Drozd and Svecha. Rescuers not only told villagers about the fires that occurred but also explained how to avoid fire emergencies, what to pay attention to in private households, and the correct procedure for calling rescuers. The mobile application of the Ministry of Emergency Situations "Assistance Nearby" also did not go unnoticed, thanks to which anyone can not only recall the basic safety rules but also call rescuers online.
Of course, rescuers reminded that the responsibility for bringing housing into a safe condition, lies entirely with the owner, so being constantly vigilant is primarily the responsibility of the residents themselves.
