Beshankovichy hosts participants of the regional labor protection seminar
Seminar topic: "Occupational Safety Revolution: The Role of Artificial Intelligence and Digitalization in the Workplace".
"Workplace safety is a priority for our district," emphasized the head of the region, Galina Unukovich, welcoming the seminar participants. "Much has been done in this direction, but more needs to be done during the Year of Improvement and the Five-Year Plan for Quality."
Within the framework of the seminar, the practical part of which is held at the Beshenkovichi RES, guests will be able to familiarize themselves with the best practices and achievements in the field of occupational safety, the work of thematic platforms, and specialized equipment.
As noted by Svetlana Zinovyeva, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Labor, Employment, and Social Protection of the Regional Executive Committee, the main goal of the seminar is for specialists responsible for occupational safety to share their experience, exchange views, and apply what they have seen in their regions.
Enterprises of the Beshenkovichi district and the Vitebsk region demonstrate approaches to organizing labor protection at the dialogue platforms of the seminar.
For the seminar participants, accident situations were simulated.
Practical skills were demonstrated in organizing firefighting in electrical installations, as well as rescuing an injured person from a power line pole and providing pre-medical aid.
The guests also familiarized themselves with the operation of the automated self-service car wash, erected at the RESS last year to improve working conditions for power engineers.
While in Beshenkovichi, the seminar participants honored the memory of the Fatherland's defenders by laying flowers at the Mound of Glory.
Continuing the seminar, its participants discussed a number of topical issues on labor protection in the large hall of the district executive committee.
The causes and conditions of industrial injuries for 2024 and the current period of 2025 were analyzed.
The issue of interaction between trade unions and employers on the creation and provision of safe working conditions was considered. Special attention was paid to the role of artificial intelligence and digitalization in the workplace.
