The Beshenkovichi District Pioneer Organization has been joined by 109 new members!

A long-awaited event for second-graders of the district's educational institutions – a solemn ceremony dedicated to their initiation into the Young Pioneers – took place yesterday at the district cultural center.

"The right to become Young Pioneers," says Anna Buchminskaya, methodologist of the district Center for Children and Youth, "the children earned through their curiosity, their desire to study well, and their exemplary behavior. The children prepared for this day for a long time, and at the celebration, they learned who the Young Pioneers are, what legend exists about them, and became acquainted with the rules of the Young Pioneers."

With words of encouragement, the schoolchildren were addressed by Marina Pesetskaya, head of the culture sector of the district executive committee, and Lyubov Grigorovich, secretary of the Beshenkovichi district organization of the Communist Party of Belarus.

In a solemn atmosphere, the children were presented with Young Pioneer stars and souvenir mementos for Young Pioneers.
