Beshenkovichi Youth Cleans Up Nature: Contribution to the Improvement of the Settlement
In the Year of Improvement, activists of the BRSM, the Nature Resources and Environmental Protection Inspectorate, public ecologists, and volunteers contributed to the cleanliness of the roadside areas of the urban-type settlement.
"The bags were constantly filled with plastic bottles, candy wrappers, and other household waste," states Elena Babaren, First Secretary of the District Committee of the BRSM. "What is this: a result of poor upbringing, irresponsible attitude towards nature, impunity, or an accident? Today, our young people, armed with good spirits and trash bags, got down to business and rectified the situation."
Caring for the environment is not only our duty but also an opportunity to create a better future for the next generations.
"Involving society, especially the younger generation, in such campaigns plays a significant role in environmental education. Those who participate in them are unlikely to litter anywhere," noted Tatyana Grigoryeva, chief specialist of the district nature resources and environmental protection inspectorate.
