Beshankovichy State Traffic Inspectors to Hold Preventive Events

The traffic police department of the Beshenkovichi District Department of Internal Affairs will hold preventive measures from February 24 to 25 aimed at preventing road traffic accidents caused by drivers under the influence of alcohol. Unfortunately, it has not yet been possible to eradicate drunk driving. Despite the propaganda on safe behavior of road traffic participants conducted by the State Automobile Inspectorate officers, there are still quite a few citizens who do not mind driving a car or motorcycle while intoxicated.

We would like to remind you once again about the responsibility for driving vehicles "under the influence": driving a vehicle with an absolute ethyl alcohol content in the blood or exhaled air in a concentration of up to 0.8 per mille entails a fine of one hundred basic units with deprivation of the right to engage in certain activities for a period of three years, and over 0.8 per mille entails a fine of two hundred basic units with deprivation of the right to engage in certain activities for a period of five years.
