Beshenkovichi rescuers provided assistance to a child
At 11:20 today, Beshenkovichi rescuers received a report about the need to assist a child whose leg was injured by a bicycle handlebar during a fall.
Units of the Beshenkovichi Regional Emergency Situations Department were immediately dispatched to the scene of the call.
Upon arrival at the scene, it was determined that the bicycle handlebar had entered the child's leg during a fall. Emergency medical personnel determined that removing the foreign object from the injured leg was very dangerous due to the risk of artery damage. Ministry of Emergency Situations workers used manual hydraulic tools to cut the cable and dismantle the bicycle handlebar assembly to facilitate the child's further transportation.
The child was transported by an ambulance crew to the "Beshenkovichi Central District Hospital" for further examination.
