The issue of life safety was discussed today in the agro-town of Rzhavka, Beshenkovichi district. The first deputy head of the institution, the Vitebsk regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Gavrilenko Andrey Vladimirovich, arrived at the meeting with the villagers, which took place in the local house of culture.

   From the very first minutes of the meeting, Andrey Vladimirovich won over the audience, completely capturing their attention, making everyone think about how we live...

     Indeed, the topic of conversation concerned everyone; unfortunately, today none of us are immune to various accidents – at any moment our refrigerator, TV, or other electrical appliance can catch fire, strong gusts of wind and torrential rains pose destructive dangers... There are many unforeseen situations, and we must be prepared for them: call rescuers in time, try not to panic and act according to the situation. Andrey Vladimirovich separately focused on the problem of child injuries and child deaths from external causes. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations employee, the main factor causing an increased risk of child mortality from various emergencies is leaving children unattended. While on the street, near a body of water, or at home, even the most obedient child, carried away by play, forgets that the road, water, and fire pose a danger that could cost them their life.

     In conclusion of the meeting, A.V. Gavrilenko reminded the villagers about the ongoing Republican campaign "Safe New Year" and emphasized that our safety depends solely on ourselves.
