Safety Starts with Everyone: Unified Information Day Held in Sinitsy
The important topic of public safety was also discussed today in the agro-town of Sinitsy.
▪️An information and promotion group, led by the Chairman of the District Council of Deputies, Alexander Erashov, arrived at the local library to meet with villagers as part of the Unified Information Day.
Opening the meeting, the head of the region's deputy corps emphasized the importance of the issues discussed and noted that such events are beneficial because they allow useful information to be conveyed to people.
"Modern fraud is no longer just a story about an elderly person who received a phone call," Alexander Erashov emphasized, elaborating on the topic. "People of different ages and professions face this problem. We all need to be vigilant and cautious."
In the midst of summer, issues of safety on water bodies are particularly relevant. During the meeting, data for the Vitebsk region were presented: since the beginning of 2026, the number of drowning deaths has decreased from 31 to 24 people. In the Beshenkovichi district, 1 drowning was recorded during this period. The main causes of tragedies are swimming while intoxicated, swimming in unauthorized areas, and leaving children unattended.
"Children's safety on the water primarily depends on their parents," Alexander Erashov reminded.
They also discussed road safety, rules of conduct in the forest, fire safety measures, and actions in emergency situations...
