To Prevent Tragedy:

· Tidying Up: observe fire safety rules when tidying up your household plots; burning dry vegetation is strictly prohibited.

· Grills and Barbecues: when using open-fire cooking devices (barbecues, grills), maintain safe distances from buildings, ensure the area is equipped with extinguishing means, and do not leave burning coals unattended. After cooking, be sure to douse the coals with water until all burning and smoldering processes have completely stopped.

· Stove Heating: observe the rules for operating stoves in residential buildings and outbuildings (baths); do not allow them to overheat and do not leave lit stoves unattended.

· Fire Safety: refrain from smoking indoors. Remember: smoking in bed is strictly prohibited! Thoroughly extinguish matches and cigarettes.

· Electrical Safety: strictly observe the rules for operating electrical appliances, do not overload the electrical grid.

· Child Safety: be an example for your children, review safety rules with them. Remember: children are not adults, they do not always realize the danger — organize their safe leisure time and do not leave them alone unattended even for a minute.

· Standalone Smoke Detectors: install smoke detectors in each living room — they will warn of smoke at an early stage.
