Over 1500 Examinations and Investigations by Beshenkovichi Forensic Experts
"Objectivity. Honor. Fatherland" – this is the motto of specialists whose opinions can be trusted, as nothing can escape their keen eye. On April 22, the workers of this service celebrate their professional holiday – Judicial Expert Day. On the eve of the holiday, we visited the forensic experts in Beshenkovichi.
The well-coordinated duo of forensic experts in the district's expert service includes expert Alexander Boboed and senior expert Vadim Keremsha.
The State Committee of Forensic Expertise began its activities based on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus dated April 22, 2013. Expert units of various specializations were merged into a single department. The State Committee of Forensic Expertise aims to provide maximum assistance to individuals seeking justice.
The Lepel Inter-district Department provides forensic expert support to law enforcement agencies, legal entities, and citizens within our district, as well as the Lepel and Chashniki districts. Upholding legality and law and order are the forensic experts of the expert-criminalistic sector for the Beshenkovichi district of the Lepel Inter-district Department of the State Committee of Forensic Expertise: senior expert Major of Justice Vadim Keremsha and expert Major of Justice Alexander Boboed.
Vadim Vladimirovich has been serving for almost 12 years. His colleague, Alexander Leonidovich, has been serving for over 5 years but has considerable experience in law enforcement. The duo of the expert-criminalistic sector conducts fingerprint, trace evidence, and cold and projectile weapon examinations. Since 2013, they have conducted over 1500 examinations and investigations. Specialists from the district's expert service have participated in over 3500 crime scene investigations.
An expert at a crime scene. Photographing a trace.
The work of an expert is a very delicate process, requiring specific skills, deep and diverse knowledge, experience, composure, and endurance, as one never knows when it will be necessary to go to a crime scene. The forensic kit, taken to the scene of a call, is always ready, day or night, on weekdays, weekends, or holidays.
"Justice is based on facts and evidence. An expert's conclusion is a crucial source of these. Having studied it along with other evidence, the investigator makes a decision – whether to press charges or not, and the judge – to find guilty or acquit," emphasize the interviewees.
The truth is out there, and they help to find it. The joy of solving a puzzle more than compensates for the irregular working hours and tight schedule. Therefore, our compatriots would not trade their work, however difficult, for another. Happy professional holiday to you, specialists of the expert service! We wish you strong health, optimism, new labor successes, an inexhaustible source of strength, and may justice always prevail!
