Be vigilant! Young people are being drawn into the drug business
The problem of illicit trafficking of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances remains one of the most significant challenges of modern society. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, the trend of younger citizens involved in illicit drug trafficking persists in the country.
Today, the internet has become the primary channel for drug distribution. Attractive offers for easy money are frequently encountered online. Organizers of online drug stores and websites promise substantial financial rewards for minor services, concealing their true intentions and assuring individuals of the legality and low risk of the work. Despite extensive information campaigns on drug addiction prevention, there are numerous instances where young people have been apprehended by police officers for illicit drug trafficking.
Unfortunately, many parents are still unaware that the internet and gadgets not only contribute to a child's development but also pose a serious threat to their life and health. In an effort not to intrude on their child's personal space, parents often discover the consequences too late. However, this does not mean that children should be completely shielded from the internet. Make time to communicate with your children, explain the dangers of drugs. Pay attention to whom your teenager communicates with. The best solution to a problem is its prevention, so do not spare your time for your children!
