Be careful on the waters!
With the onset of stable summer weather, both adults and children strive to spend as much time as possible relaxing by water bodies. To ensure that your recreation is not overshadowed, you should remember and observe simple rules of safe behavior.
Swimming should only take place in specially equipped areas – beaches of rivers and lakes.
During recreation by the water, the following are strictly prohibited:
– swimming beyond buoys, barriers, and warning signs;
– jumping into the water from dams, piers, boats, or vessels;
– swimming and diving in places with an unknown bottom;
– climbing onto buoys and other technical structures;
– giving false distress signals;
– boating and using catamarans without life-saving equipment;
– swimming while intoxicated.
If you experience a cramp while swimming, you must immediately get out of the water. If this is not possible, you need to change your swimming style – swim on your back and call for help if possible.
Adults who are on vacation with children should constantly monitor their child's proximity to them – within arm's reach.
In the Beshenkovichi district, the officially permitted swimming area is the recreation zone "Chistye Prudy" (Clean Ponds). Swimming is organized here under the supervision of OSVOD rescuers, and the bottom of the beach area has been checked and cleaned. There is also a private beach on Lake Pushkari in the district. Here, water recreation is also as safe as possible. Rescuers and video cameras are closely monitoring this.
However, as noted by rescuers and police officers, citizens often choose the closest place to their home for recreation
a body of water, and also allow themselves to swim while intoxicated. It is precisely such bodies of water that came under the scrutiny of raid participants last weekend. As a result, 6 administrative protocols were drawn up for violations of administrative legislation, including for being near water in a public place while intoxicated.Rescuers urge all citizens to be extremely careful near water, not to swim while intoxicated or in unequipped areas, and under no circumstances to leave children unattended near water!
