An open day was held at the Vitebsk Regional Committee of State Control

Open Day Held at the Vitebsk Regional Committee of State Control. 10 eleventh-graders wishing to pursue a professional career in the controlling department participated.

However, only one of the eleventh-graders invited to the event from Vitebsk, Novopolotsk, Lepel, and Orsha will receive a targeted referral from the Regional Committee of State Control for admission to the "State Audit" specialty. The recipient of the targeted referral will be determined through a competition, the most important stage of which will be an oral examination in mathematics.

The "State Audit" specialty at Belarusian State University was opened in 2023 on the initiative of the Committee of State Control. Currently, 25 students are studying in this program, some of them through targeted referrals. One of them is from the Vitebsk region.

– Traditionally, we invited people with work experience and who have distinguished themselves in related fields to work in our organization, – noted the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Committee of State Control, Vladimir Godyatsky. – Now we have decided to cultivate young specialists for ourselves and have been conducting recruitment for targeted training for the second year.

During the open day, high school students were thoroughly acquainted with the work of the Committee of State Control, and prospects for possible cooperation were outlined. The head of the regional department reminded the graduates that regardless of the competition results, they have the opportunity to submit their resumes to the HR department for consideration upon graduation from university. The students were also informed in detail about the conditions of service in the financial police – a militarized unit of the republican Committee of State Control, where capable and strong young men will be welcomed as applicants.

Daria Khomchenko, a student of Vitebsk Secondary School No. 12 named after L. Filipenko:

– One of my favorite subjects is Social Studies, and thanks to its in-depth study, I became interested in economics. I plan to enroll in the "State Audit" specialty at Belarusian State University. My interests also include sports – I have been involved in rhythmic gymnastics for 8 years. I dedicate my free time to reading fiction. I strive for comprehensive development, aim to fully realize my talents, and contribute to society in the future.

Gordey Sukhodolsky, a student of the Novopolotsk State College of the Olympic Reserve:

– I have been professionally engaged in judo since an early age and am a Candidate Master of Sports. Constant training has taught me discipline and self-control. I am not afraid to act decisively. If something doesn't work out, I learn from it and try again. I want to become a good economist. The specialty "State Audit" interests me because it allows me to gain excellent knowledge in public administration and finance, and build a successful career.
