The Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant is developing dynamically, keeping pace with progress. This opinion was expressed by the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Subbotin, during a working visit to the enterprise. He was shown aircraft undergoing repair and modernization. The head of the region familiarized himself with the production base in the new universal production complex, the progress of investment projects, and visited the composite materials workshop.

– Today, the enterprise is developing dynamically, new production facilities and workshops are opening. Artificial intelligence is being implemented – from agricultural processing to industry. Aircraft are repaired and modernized here, and equipment for the forestry and agricultural industries is being prepared. It is gratifying to see that recently the dynamics have been on the rise, qualified personnel are being recruited, and revenue is growing, – noted Alexander Subbotin.

It should be noted that the aircraft repair plant is engaged in aircraft repair in cooperation with Russian enterprises. After all, all helicopters were produced during the Soviet era.

– To minimize the purchase of any parts, we are developing our own design documentation, working according to the documentation of the developer enterprise, – said the General Director of OJSC "Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant" Dmitry Sidorovich. – We understand that we need to move forward. Therefore, one of the most important issues today is that the plant has begun acquiring additional metalworking equipment. There is already a program and prospects for the production of parts from various types of metals for enterprises of the Russian Federation that need them.
