"Let's follow the Road Traffic Regulations together on the 'Home-School-Home' route!": The State Automobile Inspectorate of the Internal Affairs Department is conducting an event aimed at preventing road traffic accidents involving children on their way to and from educational institutions.
The road to knowledge must be safe, emphasize the Beshenkovichi State Automobile Inspectors. They have intensified preventive work with children and attend parent-teacher meetings at schools.
On March 18, traffic police inspector Alexander Mamoyko and junior traffic police inspector Nikita Drozd visited the Rzhavskaya Secondary School named after M.G. Gelovani and Secondary School No. 2 named after M.N. Tkachenko. Law enforcement officers reminded the children of the importance of being attentive and observing the Road Traffic Regulations. The children actively asked questions. The Belarusian Republican Youth Union joined the initiative.
Duty was organized at an unregulated pedestrian crossing near Secondary School No. 2. After a conversation, the traffic police presented young pedestrians with souvenirs.
Be vigilant, take care of yourself and your loved ones! Since the beginning of the year, seven road traffic accidents have been registered in the Vitebsk region, in which five children were injured and two died.
