Excursion to the fire station

During the summer holidays, the risk of fires due to children's carelessness with fire significantly increases. To prevent such emergencies, child fatalities and injuries, as well as to conduct educational and upbringing work in the field of life safety with the younger generation, a preventive campaign "Holidays without Smoke and Fire" is being held in the Republic.

Children from the children's health camp at the Beshenkovichi Children and Youth Sports School joined the Republican campaign. They visited Fire Station No. 1 of the Beshenkovichi District Department for Emergency Situations on an excursion. Such equipment as a fire truck, which carries a lot of equipment and can even drive through a red traffic light, always attracts children's attention, and if they can learn about all the available fire-fighting equipment from rescuers, their emotions are overwhelming. The children gladly explored the capabilities of a modern fire truck, asked questions about its various technical characteristics, and took souvenir photos.

Then, the participants of the campaign were treated to active contests: tests of agility and endurance, the ability to put on combat gear, and much more determined the next stage of the meeting with rescuers. The winning team had the opportunity to test their skills as rescuers and "extinguish" a simulated fire with a stream of water. Each participant was given a useful life safety reminder by the Ministry of Emergency Situations employees.
