Extremism is the most dangerous phenomenon of modern society, posing a threat to the foundations of the constitutional system and national security of the state

That is why interested services and prevention entities are constantly taking measures aimed at identifying and preventing such manifestations.

This year, three offenses were identified in the Beshenkovichi district, stipulated by Article 19.11 of the Code of the Republic of Belarus on Administrative Offenses (dissemination, production, storage, transportation of information products containing calls for extremist activity or promoting such activity). The actions of the offenders consisted of posting and storing information products included in the republican list of extremist materials on social networks on the Internet. The perpetrators were brought to administrative responsibility.

In this regard, it is clarified that in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Belarus, the dissemination of information products containing calls for extremist activity or promoting such activity, as well as the production, storage, or transportation for the purpose of disseminating such information products, is prohibited on the territory of the state. Part 1 of Article 19.11 of the Code of the Republic of Belarus on Administrative Offenses provides for punishment for such actions in the form of a fine of up to twenty basic units, for an individual entrepreneur - from twenty to fifty basic units, and for a legal entity - from fifty to two hundred basic units, in all cases with confiscation of the subject of the administrative offense.
