The event was attended by the head of the district Galina Unukovich, deputy of Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies, director of Vitebsk branch of RUE "Belpochta" Sergei Maksak, chairman of the district council of deputies Gennady Shvedov, deputy chairman of the district executive committee Alexander Yerashov, representatives of labor collectives and residents of the district center.
The renovation work of the facility was carried out in preparation for the regional festival-fair of rural workers "Dozhinki - 2024". The appearance of the building has noticeably changed, the adjacent territory has been landscaped. The premises of the post office have become modern and comfortable for the stay of clients and the work process of employees.
"Welcoming the regional festival-fair of rural workers "Dozhinki - 2024" on Beshenkovichi land, we are not only summing up the results of the agricultural year, but also improving the quality of life of our population in general," Galina Unukovich noted, addressing the participants of the ceremony. "The post office is a unique delivery and communication operator, the functions and tasks of which in the modern world are much broader than everyone is accustomed to considering today. Therefore, the opening of the branch after renovation is a significant event for us. We sincerely thank the management of the regional branch of Belposhta for such a gift and wish the company's team success in their future work."
By renovating post offices, RUE Belpochta strives to maintain the availability of services provided and create comfortable conditions for customers. Sergey Maksak drew attention to this in his welcoming speech.
