Rosatom, Republican Union of Builders of Belarus to sign cooperation agreement

The Russian state nuclear industry corporation Rosatom and Belarus' Republican Union of Builders will sign a cooperation agreement on the sidelines of the international architecture and construction expo Budexpo 2023, BelTA learned from Director of OOO Rusatom Bel (Rosatom's country office in Belarus) Stanislav Levitsky.

Rosatom's country office in Belarus and the Republican Union of Builders are expected to sign the cooperation agreement on the second day of the expo. The agreement will focus on cooperation in developing the relevant competences.

According to Stanislav Levitsky, the document does not provide for concrete arrangements but there are plans to advance interaction with civil engineering industry organizations later on. “We pay huge attention to communications even if they provide no added value. The agreement we will sign tomorrow is unrelated to finance. I'd consider it primarily as a major piece of groundwork for the future. It is designed to outline common borders of our interaction so that people would understand the communication matrix: who to talk to, what to discuss, and what the essence of this interaction is,” he explained.

Stanislav Levitsky also talked about the development of digital technologies in Rosatom. “We have a total of about 27 digital solutions, which are used only in the construction industry. The most vivid example is the software product Multi-D for managing costs and time of realization of major infrastructure projects. It is used primarily for building nuclear power plants because one can hardly imagine a more complicated installation. We also have a bunch of other fields of work. Today our digital division includes over 25 organizations that employ over 20,000 people. We have a total of over 200 digital products, which are designed for absolutely different areas of work,” he said.
