Undoubtedly, our republic has enormous potential for the development of active tourism. The diverse landscape, including dense forests, pristine lakes, winding rivers, and wetlands, creates favorable conditions for organizing various types of active recreation that cater to the interests of a wide range of tourists.

A plan of events has been approved for the month of active tourism, including press conferences, events, contests, competitions, seminars, and other activities in various sectors, which will allow not only to enjoy active recreation but also to learn more about the beauty and history of Belarus.

Nine routes have been developed in our district. These include the cycling route "Beshenkovichi Horizons," walking tours of Ostrovno, Ulle, Bocheykovo, and others. A number of these, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, include visits to military burial sites and memorial places associated with the Great Patriotic War.

For example, last weekend, FSK "Dvina" and TIC "Beshenkovichi" organized a tourist hike "Active Belarus. Independence Route" for local residents, timed to coincide with the national holiday and the declared month of active tourism in July (pictured). Beshenkovichi tourists visited memorial sites in the agro-towns of Rzhavka, Budilovo, and Ostrovno.
