Today, Belarus stands on the verge of crucial decisions that will determine its future for the next five years. The second session of the VII All-Belarusian People's Congress will be held in Minsk on December 18-19. One of the key issues to be considered at the Congress will be the discussion of the results of the implementation of the Program of Socio-Economic Development of the Country for 2021-2025, as well as the adoption of the corresponding Program for the upcoming five-year period, the goal of which is to form a self-sufficient and competitive state with a focus on the individual. Key priorities have been identified, specific tasks and measures for their implementation have been outlined, and guaranteed funding has been secured for each of these issues.
The issue of national security and defense capability of Belarus deserves special attention, as it will be impossible to develop the economy without a reliable shield. The work of a delegate today is not limited to participating in meetings. It is important to be a constant link between the state and society. As the President said, what we write down and what is adopted at the People's Congress must be strictly enforced.
I and many residents of Beshenkovichi are concerned about simple issues: population retention in rural areas, development of small towns, preservation of the social sphere, improvement of public spaces, and wage levels. And separately, the importance of raising a harmonious and patriotic personality.
