This opinion was expressed by the Chairman of the Beshenkovichi District Council of Deputies, Gennady Shvedov.

"As priority areas of scientific, scientific-technical and innovative activities, the Decree defines the most promising and in-demand areas for the state," emphasized Gennady Shvedov. – These include digital technologies and artificial intelligence, innovative technologies in industry, biological and medical technologies, as well as the development of the agro-industrial complex and ensuring security. It is these areas of activity that are capable of becoming drivers of economic growth and improving the quality of life of the population. This choice is of particular relevance in the context of global competition and rapid technological changes.

Within the framework of these priorities, state programs for scientific research, scientific-technical programs, as well as the State Program for Innovative Development of Belarus for the period 2026-2030 will be developed and approved.

The Decree is an example of a visionary state policy aimed at sustainable development and strengthening Belarus's position in the international arena. It creates favorable conditions for the implementation of ambitious projects, attracting talented specialists, and fostering an innovative culture in society. I am confident that with the effective implementation of the set tasks, Belarus will be able to achieve significant success in science-intensive and high-tech industries, which will be a guarantee of the country's future prosperity.
