The State Automobile Inspectorate warns: be careful on the roads during the first snow and rain
In case of deteriorating weather conditions, State Automobile Inspectorate officers urge drivers to choose a safe speed on the road. Drivers should also avoid sudden maneuvers, overtaking, and braking. All of the above can provoke a road traffic accident. A slippery road does not forgive mistakes!
According to the traffic regulations, vehicles must be equipped with winter tires from December 1 to March 1. However, deteriorating weather conditions dictate their own rules. After rain, with nighttime frosts, black ice may form on the road surface.
