- development of comprehensive measures for the organization of social services for citizens; - identification of citizens in need of social support; - determination of specific forms of assistance and the frequency of its provision; - involvement of various state and non-state structures in resolving issues of providing social support.

Functions of the Center:

• Participation in monitoring the socio-demographic situation and developing proposals for improving social services for the population in the Beshenkovichi district.

• Identification and differentiated (by category) accounting of citizens in difficult life situations, determination of the necessary forms of social services and types of social services.

• Provision of material assistance, consulting and informational, social and domestic, social and medical, social and psychological, social and rehabilitation services, social patronage services, caregiver services, supported living services, temporary shelter services, hourly childcare services (nanny services), adaptation of unemployed disabled persons to work activities, and other social services introduced by decision of the executive committee and (or) management body to citizens in difficult life situations.

• Carrying out experimental and innovative activities in the field of social services.

• Conducting informational and educational work in the district on social services.

• Cooperation with organizations of various forms of ownership and individual entrepreneurs on issues of social services for the population within its competence.

• Engaging volunteers to provide social services to citizens in difficult life situations.

• Compilation and analysis of departmental and other reporting on the center's activities.

• Providing assistance in equipping citizens with technical means of social rehabilitation.

• Conducting sanitary and anti-epidemic measures.

• Organizing leisure activities for citizens, conducting cultural, mass, sports, and recreational events.

• Attracting funds from charitable organizations, other legal entities and individuals to strengthen the material and technical base of the center.

• Conducting activities to improve the professional level of the center's employees, planning and organizing professional development and retraining of employees to improve the organization of work and the level of care and maintenance of citizens.

• Ensuring the selection and placement of the center's staff, carrying out work on creating a personnel reserve, staff certification, and forecasting the future need for qualified personnel.

It has the right to carry out other functions and various types of economic activities in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Belarus.
