Belarusian ruble graphic symbol
The graphic symbol of the official monetary unit of the Republic of Belarus – the Belarusian ruble – was approved by Resolution of the Board of the National Bank dated January 27, 2026, No. 25.
The graphic symbol is a capital Cyrillic letter "Б", which is the first letter of the word "Belarus", allowing the image to be associated with the Republic of Belarus and the country's national monetary unit. A line parallel to the upper line runs through the center of the letter, symbolizing resilience, balance, and stability.
The graphic symbol harmoniously fits into the international system of graphic symbols of world currencies. Its use contributes to increasing confidence in the Belarusian ruble, as well as maintaining a positive image of the Republic of Belarus.
