During his familiarization with the construction progress, the parliamentarian noted a delay in the schedule. The facility is being financed adequately, it is of great social importance, and is included in the State Investment Program for 2025. However, the construction is about a month behind schedule. The facility is currently 65% complete. There is a significant shortage of finishing tradesmen.

The heads of contracting organizations have been instructed to involve the necessary number of workers of the required specialties.

The next stage of the working trip was a visit to the dairy farm complex under construction at JSC "Khotily-agro". There were also remarks regarding the subcontractor from Slutsk. A conversation was held with its representative, during which a promise was received to rectify the work in the shortest possible time and begin the installation of two buildings.

The Speaker of Parliament also familiarized himself with the progress of the harvest. Like the entire Vitebsk region, the Postavy district faced severe weather conditions this year. Many harvesters are getting stuck in the fields, and 10 units of high-power tractors are being used in the farms to tow them, which could be used for other agricultural work at this time.

The use of tracked grain harvesting equipment, as for example at JSC "Kamaysky-agro", is yielding a positive effect.

Summing up the working trip, Igor Sergeenko noted:

– The overall assessment of the construction workers' performance is unsatisfactory due to low progress and a shortage of builders. Claims have been made against the contractor's management. The Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee is obliged to take the hospital building under its control and take measures to expand the staff of finishing workers to ensure timely completion of the work. There are also remarks regarding the construction of the dairy farm complex at JSC "Khotily-agro" concerning the subcontracting organization.

Fieldwork and harvesting are being carried out under extremely challenging weather conditions. Approximately 40% of the grain areas have been harvested in the region, with an average yield of over 27 centners per hectare. It is difficult to predict further prospects, but for now, the work is organized in such a way that as soon as the weather is favorable, farmers are in the fields. All equipment is engaged. People are trying their best. It is gratifying that pensioners are coming to help, taking the controls of the combine harvesters. We need to produce tracked chassis for grain harvesting equipment, – said Igor Sergeenko.
